Westwind Farms Sales

Westwind Farms is a 65 acre farm in mid-Michigan and is owned by Mike and Cammie Cavanaugh and their family. The farm and horses are managed by Cammie and she is the contact person.

We bought our first miniature horse approximately 28 years ago, and at the present time, we have approximately 70 horses. Almost all of our horses are AMHA registered and many of these are also AMHR registered. A few of our miniatures are registered only with the AMHR. We are now delivering between 2 to 10 foals each year. We attend all deliveries and give special attention to every foal during the most formative months.

We have acquired some of the best bloodlines in the industry to assure the best qualities in our foals. Our color preference is pinto with the majority of our stallions being pinto, some of them homozygous. We have been fortunate enough to have bred some outstanding, homozygous pinto colts and they have been retained and are being added to our breeding program as they mature. Over the next few years, our herd will be getting even more colorful!
