At Westwind Farms, we have bought or raised very fine mares that will compliment our great stallions. A stallion is the key to success at a breeding farm, but without the high quality mares, your breeding program will never reach it's full potential. Our broodmares are not here because they were cheap or they came as a filler in a package deal. They're at our farm because they were selected for their fine attributes and genetics to be matched up individually with the proper stallion.

This page is dedicated to all of the wonderful broodmares at Westwind Farms. They are often forgotten yet do most of the work and are rarely included in the foal's name like the sire is. This is just a sampling of Westwind Farms' broodmares.
