Patriot was the first mare of my breeding to ever win a National Top Ten and even did it twice. She is solid black, but she had the most beautiful trot, that it turned the head of every judge as she trotted by them and she got that second important look.

Patriot has made the transition to the broodmare band with a bang.  Every foal she delivers is a show quality foal and her 2006 foal sired by I Promised Revenge is no exception.  Westwind Farms Madam Revenge is a limited white black pinto with the most exquisite head and notched ears.  I have reserved a spot for her as a tall yearling on Darin Southwick's show string for 2007.

Patriot is the sweetest horse to be around but especially enjoyable just prior and after delivering a foal.  You can do anything to her and never have to worry about the protective mother syndrome.  She just enjoys the extra attention and wants to share her baby with us.
